Graduated from Kazan Aviation Institute (KAI) in 1982, holds PhD in Mechanics of liquid, gas and plasma. Heads the laboratory of plasma technology in branch research laboratory of the Ministry of Radio Industry, is an associate professor of Technical Physics Department and Associate Professor of Laser Technologies Department. He's the first deputy dean of Physics and Mathematics Faculty, the director of Educational and Methodological Centre of the University, head of Licensing and Accreditation Department at KAI, KSTU, KNRTU-KAI named after A.N. Tupolev
