The lab of Industrial Software Production conducts research in software engineering, empirical methods development and their applications to software production processes. Our ultimate goal is software quality improvement.
The lab creates innovative models for assessment, improvement, and reengineering of software production, which can redefine the understanding of how software is being conceived, analyzed, designed, produced, and tested. We strive to develop models that can guide future generation of software managers, engineers, and developers.
We expect our activity to make a very significant worldwide impact in research and software production.
Scientific directions include:
— Analysis of cognitive functions of software developers
— Program purpose modelling
— Software development process efficiency and productivity
— Creative software engineering endeavors
