Alexei Kornaev graduated fr om the National University of Science and Technology MISIS (MISIS) in 2003, wh ere he started his academic career. He was teaching applied physics and working on his PhD thesis that was defended in 2008. Later on, he continued to work on research in the leading Lab of hydromechanical systems and robotics at the Orel State University, wh ere he also defended his doctoral thesis in 2018. Meanwhile, focus of Alexei’s scientific work has shifted from deterministic to stochastic models, while machine learning has become his main research focus. From 2021, being a researcher, and later a professor at the Innopolis University, he continued to know the essence of things in a collaboration with other colleagues and students, working on how to make an AI clearer and more useful for the humanity.
