Alma Oracevic obtained her electrical engineer degree from the University of Bihac, Faculty of Technical Science, March 2009. The same year she was enrolled as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Technical Science, Electrical Engineering Department, University of Bihac. Alma Oracevic received the Ph.D. degree in University of Zagreb, Croatia, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, in February 2016 under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mladen Kos (University of Zagreb, Croatia) and Professor Dr. Suat Ozdemir (Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey). During her Ph.D. she was focused in secure and reliable target tracking in wireless sensor networks and part of the research conducted in KAVEM laboratory, in Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey. In September 2016, she was enrolled as an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Technical Science, Electrical Engineering Department, University of Bihac. In December 2016, she received the Fulbright visiting scholar award for postdoctoral research at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, the USA. During this time, she was employed as a lecturer for the Telecommunication Department at the Georgia Institute of Technology and was an instructor for the course "Computer Networks" from March 2018 until the end of her Fulbright enrollment. Alma Oracevic conducted a postdoctoral research in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Her research was focused on the 5G networks Currently, she is enrolled as an Assistant professor at the Institute of Information security and cyberphysical systems, Innopolis University, Russian Federation.
